With almost 30 years of experience in the insolvency industry, Andy Fisher is regarded as one of Canada’s leading Licensed Insolvency Trustees. Working life began for Andy in 1994 when he joined his father’s trustee firm Alan Lawson, Fisher Inc. The firm was heralded as one of the leading insolvency practices in the Durham, Peterborough and Belleville regions.
He became LIT in 1998 before taking over the reins at the family business two years later. Andy successfully ran his father’s practice until 2009 before selling to trustee firm Farber where he then became a partner.
Fast-forward to 2020, and Andy was on the move again, this time founding his own firm AFA.
As president of his own firm, Andy has the opportunity to share his extensive insolvency knowledge with those who need it most. He is passionate about working with people to help them solve their financial problems.
Outside of the office, Andy is a husband and a dad of two. Family time is always a top priority for our president, but he’s also a keen traveller and sports enthusiast. From Australian Rules Football, which he played in Toronto for a decade, to hockey, he’s proud to stay as active as he can.
A summer internship at his father’s trustee firm in 1999 turned into a lifelong career for Chad Zizzo.
It was there he found his calling – to help individuals and families through financial distress. For Chad, there’s no better feeling than helping someone conquer their financial burdens and help them build a strong and sustainable financial future.
He became a Licensed Insolvency Trustee in 2016 and was quickly awarded Certificate of Excellence from ThreeBestRated.com as the Top 3 Bankruptcy Trustees in Toronto and Kitchener in 2017.
For Chad insolvency is more than just a career, it’s an opportunity to provide guidance to those in need and give them confidence that they’ll not lose their car, house or other assets during some of their darkest days.
He’s committed to providing a process that makes things better, eliminates debts, rebuilds credit scores and ultimately helps people sleep better at night. Outside of the office, Chad is a dad to two young children and a loving husband. A keen sports fan, awesome at foosball and darts – even if he does say so himself.
